Ziva is a Zebra who is an old college friend of Bart. The two used to work for a large company developing phone apps and general software. They later left when they heard about a well-known indie game studio moving to their area and decided to apply. She and Bart work closely together on engines and gameplay.

Despite being a big nerd, Ziva is very loud and lively but is super social and easy to get along with. She's an expert coder but sometimes dabbles in other disciplines like art and VFX. She loves punk rock and ska. She likes to dress formally on most days but dresses super casually on Fridays and weekends.

Her favorite game series is a fictional Kirby-like series named Maruten, which is supposed to mean "circle boy." Due to early mistranslations, he was briefly known as "Martin" in America. Many fans still call him Martin as a joke and love making merch with the botched translation.
