About Me

 I am Plokster! I am a guy who currently works in IT and does graphic design on the side. My ADHD-riddled brain does not let me focus on just one thing, so I am constantly juggling many different interests. My main interests are digital art and coding.

 I've been drawing nearly as long as I can remember. When I wasn't playing video games, I was thinking about playing video games, so I would draw my favorite characters like Crash or Spyro. Eventually, I found drawing itself to be fun and started coming up with my own "original" characters and game ideas (mostly Crash Team Racing clones). I joined Roblox in 2008, which introduced me to coding. While I never made anything mind blowing, it was a way to combine the two interests. I created, a black Waddle Dee cleverly named Dee, and his twin brother, a Waddle Doo named Dooey. Over the years, I improved my art and made a ton of original characters, then later went back and made my fan characters into original species.

 In Roblox, I started out by making lackluster 3D collect-a-thons. I've updated them from time to time to make them a bit better and to rely less on free resources. You can check out some of my levels on my Projects page. Later on, I started doing art for my friends' Roblox games and have done art for Roblox Flip Cards, Elemental Wars, Elemental Battlegrounds, Blox Fruits, and Anime Simulator.

 Nowadays, my favorite subjects are concept art and character design. I love coming up with more refined game ideas and characters that follow said ideas. I'd like to one day make a game (mostly a Crash Team Racing clone). As for coding, I've dabbled in languages like Java, Python, C++, VB and more. I don't do coding often, as I now work full time in IT and part time doing graphics and UI for Roblox games. Although more recently, I've been trying to get into Blender to work on some game ideas.  And no, my name is not a reference to the 1993 SNES game Plok!
