Rackell
Rackell is a Faun-like creature known as a "Grendlak." Normally, Grendlaks are massive, feral animals that live in the snowy mountaintops and are considered extremely territorial and deadly. However, due to complications with his birth, Rackell never developed his primal instincts and is considered laughably small for his species. He was abandoned by his family and spent his early youth looking for a new home. Despite being rejected and sometimes hunted out of fear that his parents were lurking by, he was later adopted by the royal cook of the Kazway Kingdom. He's one of the very few Grendlaks in his world who possesses the ability to speak, read, and so on.
He learned to cook from his adoptive mother. From there, he later found that alchemy and potion-brewing come quite easy to him while most others find it extremely challenging. Growing up alongside his friends Gavvy and Kalan, the Queen of Kazway, he eventually became the royal alchemist. He lives in a large storage shed that was originally used back when the kingdom was being built. He managed to turn it into a nice house, complete with a library, alchemy lab, kitchen, garden, and multiple bedrooms he lets his friends sleep in. He likes to bake things for his friends sometimes.
Overall, Rackell is highly anxious and can get overwhelmed pretty easily. He likes to stick to schedules and hates being thrown off course. Even so, he can still be pretty social and is a highly respected member of his community for being a generous guy and an overall sweetie pie. He's also a part of an official peace-keeping group formed by the Queen, simply serving as a potions expert and alchemist. He's about 25 years old. He's very agile, as he can run quite fast and leap fairly large distances.
His cloak and hat are custom made by a coven of his witch friends. His cape contains several pockets inside, which he can use to store potion ingredients and other things. Meanwhile, his hat contains a small rift to the inside of his master potion cabinet. By reaching in, he can quickly pull out any potion he needs. He also likes to hide his arms in his cloak while in public.
